Mohit Maheshwari

Mohit Maheshwari is an associate in the Corporate Department and a member of the Private Investment Funds Group.

Mohit advises fund managers on a range of matters, focusing on fundraising and fund structuring, internal governance and ongoing fund maintenance. Mohit also acts for limited partners (LPs), such as development financial institutions (DFIs), sovereign funds, multilateral institutions and family offices on their investments in private funds. Mohit has experience advising on fund management spin-offs, structuring carried interest programs and co-investment structures for GPs. 

Mohit has previously worked in the private investment funds practices of law firms based in Mumbai, India: as a counsel at Trilegal, as a senior associate at Khaitan & Co, as a consultant at Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, and as an Associate at IC Universal Legal.

Mohit earned his LL.B. degree from the National Law University, Jodhpur in 2015 where he was a senior editor of the Indian Journal of Arbitration Law and participated in prestigious international moot court competitions such as the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot at Hong Kong and the International Criminal Court Moot Court at Hague.
