Joseph L. Salvatore

Joseph Salvatore is an associate in the Corporate Department and a member of the Private Funds Group. Joseph advises clients on the various stages of private equity fund formations, including capital raising, marketing, drafting, reviewing and negotiating fund documentation. Joseph works with a variety of fund managers, ranging from large, diversified asset managers to emerging managers, and both exempt reporting advisers and registered investment advisers.

Joseph’s practice also includes representing buyers and sellers, as well as private fund sponsors, in connection with complex secondary transactions, including traditional sales and purchases of fund interests and GP-Led transactions.

Joseph earned his law degree from Boston College Law School.  During law school, he worked as a legal intern at the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Massachusetts. Prior to law school, Joseph worked as a legal assistant at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher and Flom LLP.
