Elise Crichton is an associate in the Corporate Department and a member of the Private Funds Group.
She works across a wide range of matters advising UK and international fund managers, fund of funds and a number of global investors on private investment funds. She has primarily advised on fundraisings, secondary transactions, and continuation fund vehicles. She works across a range of asset classes and fund generations, including new managers and managers raising subsequent generations of funds.
During her time at Proskauer, she has also been on a 6-month secondment to a Private Funds Group client, One Peak LLP. She assisted One Peak in raising their USD1 billion fund in 2022 and worked directly with the principals and general counsel to provide advice during a challenging period of capital raising, given COVID and global conflicts.
Prior to joining Proskauer, she worked as a lawyer at MinterEllison in Adelaide, South Australia, and more recently in Private Investment Funds at Clifford Chance in Munich where she practised in German and English.
Admitted as a solicitor in Australia, Elise brings a global perspective to her work through her language skills and as a result of her practice in Australia and Europe.
Elise was selected to be a Protégée for Proskauer’s Women Sponsorship Program, an initiative that champions high-performing mid-level and senior lawyers as emerging leaders.
