LONDON, August 7, 2026 – Proskauer advised Bayview Asset Management on the joint acquisition by its affiliate and Sixth Street of Castle Trust Bank, a UK specialist bank focused on residential property-backed lending, consumer lending and retail savings. Bayview is a global alternative investment management firm with approximately $44.7 billion of assets under management as of June 30, 2026.

Proskauer represented Bayview on all aspects of the joint venture arrangements with Sixth Street. As equal partners, Sixth Street and Bayview have committed additional capital to fuel growth across Castle Trust Bank's business, including expanding its retail savings franchise, broadening its product offering, and supporting continued growth in specialist lending. Castle Trust Bank will continue to be led by its existing management team.

The matter marks Proskauer’s third recent instruction for Bayview.
