April 9, 2018 (Washington, D.C.) – Enhancing the Firm’s securities litigation and regulatory enforcement practices, international law firm Proskauer is pleased to announce that partner Samuel Waldon has joined the Litigation Department in DC.

Mr. Waldon joins Proskauer from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), where he served as Assistant Chief Counsel in the Enforcement Division for eight years. Having provided guidance on enforcement matters to senior leadership, investigative staff and trial unit attorneys throughout the Enforcement Division, he has in-depth experience in a broad range of enforcement matters, including financial disclosure, accounting, asset management, broker dealer, FCPA, cyber-related misconduct and insider trading. Mr. Waldon received his B.A., summa cum laude, from Virginia Tech and his J.D., with honors, from University of Texas School of Law.
