November 6, 2020 (New York) – Proskauer partners Kate Gold and Sandra Montgomery were named to Daily Journal’s 2020 Top Women Lawyers. The feature recognizes the best California lawyers doing cutting-edge legal work in their field.

Kate, a partner in the Labor & Employment Law Department in the Los Angeles office, has over 25 years of experience representing clients in a range of industries, across all areas of employment law. She was highlighted for her work representing CBS, Billboard Magazine, and government contractor the Aerospace Corp. against discrimination claims in recent years.

Sandra is a partner in the Corporate Department and a member of The Private Credit and Finance Groups. Sandra represents first- and second-lien senior lenders, mezzanine investors, and equity sponsors in senior debt, mezzanine and private equity financing arrangements, particularly those involving private sources of capital. She was highlighted for her recent work representing Crestview Partners in its acquisition of touch- screen maker Elo Touch Solutions and Veritas Capital in its acquisition of workforce management software business API Healthcare. Montgomery has advised Apollo Global Management — considered one of the world’s largest alternative investment managers — in a number of matters.
