NEW YORK, July 12, 2022 – Proskauer, a leading international law firm, is delighted to announce that Partner Keisha-Ann G. Gray has been named a 2022 Notable Diverse Leader in Law by Crain’s New York Business. The editorial feature profiles top law professionals from underrepresented groups who have made an impact in New York through the cases they have handled, clients won and pro bono work.
“In the legal profession and in my community, I am proud to be a change maker by using my voice and perspective to help create a more equitable and inclusive environment for all. I am honored to be recognized by Crain’s New York Business in their 2022 Notable Diverse Leaders list, and will continue to use my platform to make a meaningful impact in the communities in which I live and work,” said Keisha-Ann.
As important social change movements like Black Lives Matter, #MeToo and LGBTQ+ pride continue to shape society and businesses, Keisha-Ann is the go-to advisor when addressing issues related to discrimination, harassment and/or lack of diversity.
With more than 20 years of experience, she has secured significant victories in federal and state courts for organizations facing “bet the company” and reputational risk claims. She speaks and trains on employment matters such as litigation/trial practice, conducting effective investigations, diversity, equity & inclusion, and anti-discrimination/anti-harassment. Keisha-Ann also previously served as an Assistant United States Attorney in the Eastern District of New York and federal law clerk in the U.S. District Court for the District of Puerto Rico.
Outside of the courtroom, Keisha-Ann gives back to the community by mentoring junior female lawyers and junior lawyers of color, serving on the Board of the Attorney Grievance Committee for the NY Supreme Court Appellate Division, 1st Judicial Dept., and co-Chairing the Federal Bar Council’s Employment Litigation Committee. She also was recently appointed to the New York City Mayor’s Advisory Committee on the Judiciary by the Chief Judge of the New York Court of Appeals.
Keisha-Ann was one of 80 law professionals recognized by Crain’s New York Business. To qualify for the list, honorees had to be nominated by their colleagues and be based in New York City or nearby counties.
