NEW YORK, April 28, 2023 – Proskauer, a leading international law firm, is pleased to announce that partners Sandra Crawshaw-Sparks, Keisha-Ann G. Gray, Lee Popkin, Seetha Ramachandran and Andrea S. Rattner have been shortlisted in Euromoney’s 2023 Women in Business Law awards.
Sandra, who was named a finalist in the Copyright Lawyer of the Year and Media & Entertainment Lawyer of the Year categories, is chair of the Firm’s Entertainment, Copyright & Media practice. A bi-coastal litigator, she advises on matters involving recording, publishing, licensing and management contracts, copyrights, trademark rights, unfair competition laws and the rights of privacy and publicity. Last year, Sandy was named Copyright Lawyer of the Year by Euromoney.
Keisha-Ann, a finalist for Litigator of the Year, is an experienced trial lawyer and trusted advisor to major corporations spanning all industries for their most critical and complex employment discrimination and commercial litigation matters. Her unique perspective honed over her years defending both the federal government as an Assistant U.S. Attorney, as well as private and public sector clients, makes her an in-demand litigator for organizations facing “bet the company”, high-reaching and reputational risk claims. In addition to her litigation practice, Keisha-Ann also co-chairs Proskauer’s Workplace Investigations Practice Group and regularly conducts, as well as trains, on how to conduct effective workplace investigations.
Lee is co-head of Proskauer’s Product Liability practice and was named as a finalist for Product Liability Litigator of the Year. She represents clients in a wide range of industries in state and federal courts throughout the country. Lee was recently part of the team that secured a landmark victory for Monsanto in a case brought by a woman claiming that the use of the herbicide Roundup caused her non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma.
Seetha, who was named a White Collar Crime Lawyer of the Year finalist, is a partner in Proskauer’s White Collar and Asset Management Litigation practices. Formerly Chief of the U.S. Department of Justice’s Money Laundering & Bank Integrity Unit, she is a leading expert in anti-money laundering, economic sanctions and asset forfeiture matters. Seetha represents clients in a range of white collar and regulatory enforcement matters, conducts internal investigations, and provides regulatory and compliance advice.
Andrea is a member of the Firm’s Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation Group. She was named a finalist in the Corporate Governance Lawyer of the Year and Tax Lawyer of the Year categories. Andrea has more than 30 years of experience advising clients on a broad range of executive compensation and employee benefit matters, representing clients on an ongoing basis as well as in the context of corporate transactions and other transformative and unique situations.
