Blake Halperin

Blake Halperin is a corporate associate and a member of the Firm’s Private Funds Group. He primarily focuses his practice on representing buyers and sellers, as well as private fund sponsors, in connection with complex secondary transactions, including traditional sales and purchases of fund interests as well as GP-Led transactions, including but not limited to, single asset spin-out arrangements, fund recapitalizations, preferred financings and “stapled” secondary transactions.  In addition, he regularly represents U.S. and non-U.S. institutional investors in their primary investments and co-investment opportunities.

Blake has significant experience with a diverse group of private investment firms and investors, and representative current and past clients include Apollo S3, Accel KKR, Blackstone (Strategic Partners), Banner Ridge Partners, Bristol Myers Squibb, Core Capital Partners, CPPIB, Deerfield Academy, DFW Capital Partners, FlowStone Partners, GIC, GTCR, HarbourVest Partners, Hollyport Capital, Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago, Landmark Partners, Lexington Partners, Melkonian Capital Management, Method Advisors, Schroders, Summer Street Capital Partners, Timber Bay Partners and Whitehorse Liquidity Partners.

Prior to joining Proskauer, Blake was a corporate associate at Kirkland & Ellis LLP.
