Proskauer’s Business Development, Marketing and Communications department drives firmwide business development, marketing, and branding initiatives to generate opportunities, elevate the Firm’s profile, and engage clients, talent, media, and communities.
The Business Development Internship program is intended to provide participants with hands-on exposure to how corporate law firms drive growth. In this role, they will support BD team members with pitches and proposals, assist in planning and executing client events, and help with a range of administrative and research tasks that promote the firm’s practices and offices.

The Communications Intern will support our marketing and communications efforts through a combination of research, content development, and reporting. Responsibilities will include conducting social media and website audits of competitors to identify trends and opportunities, assisting with monthly performance reporting, and tracking media coverage and firm mentions. Interns will also support copywriting for social media, updates to assigned blogs or specific web pages, and the preparation and submission of legal awards and rankings. These projects are intended to provide hands-on experience while meaningfully supporting the team’s day-to-day and strategic initiatives.

The Digital Production Intern will join Proskauer’s Business Development, Marketing, and Communications department, supporting the creation and distribution of digital content, assisting with production logistics, filming/recording, editing, and ensuring smooth content delivery, while also collaborating on post-production tasks like asset management and performance tracking, offering dynamic learning opportunities in multimedia production.

The Events Intern will work as a member of Proskauer’s Client Events team within our Business Development, Marketing and Communications department in supporting the planning and execution of firm events and will assist with logistics including on-site operations, registration, guest-list check-ins, preparing event materials, and providing day-of event support. The intern will also collaborate with the team developing post-event follow-ups, data tracking, and many other exciting learning opportunities related to creating world-class events.

The Client Intelligence & Marketing Technology Intern will be part of Proskauer’s Client Intelligence and Marketing Technology team within the Business Development, Marketing and Communications Department. The intern will support efforts to identify and target new clients across different practice groups, conduct ad hoc research, and help organize and curate data from the Firm’s various platforms. This role offers hands-on exposure to a range of marketing and client intelligence technologies and provides an opportunity to learn about the Firm while contributing to meaningful projects that support growth and innovation.
The Information Governance and Records Department is responsible for providing support and maintenance of the Firm's client and internal business services Records from creation through ultimate disposition.
Proskauer is seeking an Information Governance and Matter Mobility Intern to support the transfer, organization, and maintenance of client and firm records. The role includes assisting with incoming and outgoing file transfer requests and managing both electronic and physical document filing. The intern will also help respond to departmental inquiries that come in via phone, email, or in person. Additional responsibilities include following up on outstanding service issues and providing general support to the records team. The position requires the ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
This position will require physical presence in Proskauer’s offices on a regular basis (at least 4x per week, or more, if it becomes the policy of the Firm or as business needs require).
Proskauer’s Security team develops and manages the Firm’s security framework, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and industry standards while integrating security measures into overall risk mitigation and business operations.
The Physical Security Intern will bring an interest in physical security, emergency management, homeland security, or criminal justice and will support the team by assisting with the development and documentation of preparedness plans and emergency procedures. The intern may also assist with research, reviews of existing protocols, and general support related to physical security initiatives.
Proskauer’s Facilities & Operations Department oversees the Firm’s real estate, office operations, and administrative services, focusing on efficient operations across its 12 offices worldwide.
The Real Estate & Facilities Intern will support real estate and construction projects across the Firm’s U.S. offices by assisting with portfolio operations, organizing project documentation, tracking milestones, coordinating with stakeholders and vendors, and supporting budget, schedule, and occupancy data. The intern will also provide reporting, research, and general project support to help ensure efficient execution.
Proskauer’s Innovation team partners with Firm stakeholders to optimize the business by reducing administrative burden and advancing practice technologies, including the development of AI-driven, low-code workflows within the Firm’s AI platforms.
The Innovation Intern will support the work of the Innovation team by assisting with requirements gathering for the development of low-code, AI-enabled workflows. The intern will participate in legal technology vendor demonstrations, help create training and informational materials related to legal technology tools, conduct product comparisons and evaluations, and assist in facilitating legal technology pilots across the Firm.
As part of the Enterprise Technology Transformation team, the Transformation Operations Intern will support firm-wide innovation, operational excellence, and technology-driven initiatives at Proskauer. The intern will gain hands-on experience in strategic planning, process improvement, data analysis, and emerging legal technologies by supporting transformation projects such as workflow modernization, automation, and AI; documenting processes and governance frameworks; conducting research on legal technology and industry best practices; and preparing executive-ready materials for senior leadership.
Proskauer’s Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team supports firmwide financial reporting, performance and profitability analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling. The Financial Analyst Intern will assist with data analysis and business support across Legal and Business Services departments.
Proskauer’s Accounting department manages the Firm's finances, handles partner compensation, month-end closings, reconciliations, financial reporting, and audits for our U.S. offices.
The Accounting Intern will gain hands-on exposure to the Accounting operations of a fast-paced law firm by assisting with the preparation and reconciliation of client accounts, supporting internal and external audits, and helping maintain accurate financial records. The intern will work closely with Accounting professionals on accounting activities and compliance with firm policies and controls.
Proskauer’s Treasury team manages the Firm’s working capital and liquidity, overseeing global cash flow forecasting, funding, foreign currency exposure, and cash application processes.
The Treasury Intern will gain hands-on exposure to the Firm’s treasury and cash management operations by supporting vendor onboarding, bank verifications and reconciliations, cash and Versapay reporting, and onboarding-related projects. The intern will work closely with the Treasury team to support accurate financial operations and contribute to the Firm’s financial performance and growth.
Proskauer’s Pricing team serves as the first point of contact for pricing support on existing and prospective client matters, guiding stakeholders through the full pricing lifecycle from proposal development and internal approvals to client submission and negotiation.
The Pricing Intern will assist in the development of sophisticated financial analyses and pricing models. The intern will support the design and implementation of new pricing services and tracking mechanisms, gaining hands-on experience analyzing financial data, evaluating pricing strategies, and supporting data-driven decision-making.
Proskauer’s Legal Project Management team supports attorneys with early-stage matter planning, budgeting, lifecycle tracking, and reporting to promote increased profitability and scalability.
The Legal Project Management Intern will support the Legal Project Management team by assisting with financial analysis, including hour and rate trends, write-offs, and realization patterns. The intern will also track incoming requests and opportunities, maintain pipeline reports with statuses and deadlines, and support data entry and system hygiene across LPM tools.
Proskauer’s Accounts Payable team oversees the Firm’s cash disbursement processes, including payment methods, approval workflows, and related controls. The New York team processes all firmwide and client-billable vendor invoices in accordance with Firm policies.
The Accounts Payable Intern will support the Accounts Payable team with day-to-day operations and projects, including assisting with invoice processing, Chrome River invoice reminders, 1099 reporting and preparation, vendor setup corrections, and other ad hoc projects as needed.
Proskauer’s Community Engagement & Inclusion team partners with Firm leadership to foster an inclusive culture by celebrating the educational, historical, and cultural backgrounds of our workforce and strengthening community across the Firm.
The Community Engagement & Inclusion Intern will support the CE&I team by providing administrative and program support for summer initiatives, including Legal Outreach, Affinity Group and Summer Associate events, and CE&I retreats, gaining exposure to firmwide inclusion programming and community engagement efforts.

The Pro Bono Intern will support the Firm’s pro bono initiatives by maintaining and updating the pro bono database that tracks all active and completed matters. The intern will assist with the development of marketing and communications content for the Firm’s For Good blog, help plan and coordinate pro bono events, and conduct research in support of special projects and strategic initiatives.

The Lateral Recruiting Intern will support the Lateral Recruiting team by tracking and filing candidate submissions, preparing resume and evaluation materials, interview scheduling and feedback tracking, creating and updating charts, and conducting research on legal publications for specified practice groups.

The Benefits Intern will support the Benefits team with administrative responsibilities, including ensuring timely and accurate scanning and consolidation of benefits documents, maintaining up-to-date electronic and personnel files on the internal shared drive, and organizing departmental records.
