October 26, 2017 (NEW YORK) – Proskauer was recognized by the Vance Center for its outstanding international pro bono efforts on behalf of La Comisión de Derechos Humanos (The Human Rights Commission of El Salvador or CDHES), a human rights NGO.

Proskauer assisted the Commission in raising awareness of the International Criminal Court (ICC) among Salvadoran citizens by producing a brochure used to raise awareness among Salvadorans about their country’s membership in, and the protections afforded by, the ICC. The brochure, which has been produced in Spanish and English, is part of a campaign by the CDHES to raise awareness among and to educate the greater Salvadoran public about the Court’s structure, jurisdiction and interaction with citizens.

Associate Kramer Rice accepted the award on behalf of the Firm. The team was led by partner Ana Vermal and included alumna Sunghee Sohn.
