BOSTON, July 22, 2026 – Proskauer announced today that Emily O'Brien has rejoined the Firm as a partner in its Private Funds Group in Boston further strengthening the Firm’s market leading capabilities in advising emerging and established managers across the private funds market.
Emily advises venture capital and private equity fund sponsors on the formation, organization and operation of investment funds. Her practice focuses on advising clients throughout the fundraising lifecycle, including the preparation of offering documents, negotiations with investors and the drafting of partnership, limited liability company and other governance agreements. Following fund formation, she counsels managers on the legal and operational matters that arise over the life of their funds. She also regularly counsels first-time fund managers and has experience representing institutional investors in private equity investments.
