December 14, 2017 (LONDON) – Proskauer’s London office was nominated for the Best Contribution by an International Law Firm and for the Most Effective Pro Bono Partnership at the LawWorks Pro Bono Awards.
Proskauer is recognized for its efforts helping pro bono client Roots HR CIC with real estate negotiations for their new offices and for exiting their previous one. Roots is a UK consultancy specializing in human resources services for the social sector. Our clients claimed that: “Proskauer went over and above the original scope of the work agreed with us, with exceptionally good grace.” We are proud to say that Roots now has offices for the next six years and a better understanding of the costs, terms and risks of their transaction.
LawWorks is a charity organization in England and Wales, working to connect volunteer lawyers with people in need of legal advice. The LawWorks Pro Bono Awards identify and celebrate accomplishments in legal pro bono work taken on by organizations and individuals to facilitate justice. Proskauer’s partnership with Roots was through LawWorks.
Special real estate counsel Ben Taylor and corporate associate Natalie Milnes attended the award service with Jan Golding and Charlotte Badger of Roots HR.
