June 28, 2017 (New York) – Proskauer earned a place on Yale Law Women’s 2017 Top 10 Family Friendly Firms list, recognizing the Firm as a leader among law firms nationwide for its commitment to family friendly policies and practices.
Yale Law Women surveys Vault 100 law firms annually on gender equity indicators such as billable hour requirements, part-time and flex-time options, and the use and availability of caregiver and other family leave policies, to determine the firms that are committed to the retention and advancement of women. Yale Law Women is a student-run organization working to advance the status of women at Yale Law School and in the legal profession at large.
The Firm was recently named a Top 10 Best Law Firm to Work For by Vault, reflecting the emphasis Proskauer puts on programs and policies to support its people. Last year, Proskauer launched CaRe, its caregiver return program, which allows lawyers returning from primary-caregiver leave to work a reduced schedule – at 100% of their pre-leave compensation – for six months following their return. CaRe joined a roster of family friendly resources offered by the Firm, including New Parent Career Coaching, Emergency Backup Childcare and Eldercare Services, Employee Assistance Program and the Proskauer Caregivers Network.
