NEW YORK, January 28, 2022 – Proskauer, a leading international law firm, today announced that it advised Heartland Media Acquisition Corp. (NYSE:HMA) (the “Company”), a newly-formed special purpose acquisition company (SPAC), in its initial public offering on the New York Stock Exchange on January 20, 2022.
The IPO raised gross proceeds of $175 million. The Company was formed for the purpose of effecting a business combination with one or more businesses or entities. Heartland Media Acquisition Corp. is led by Robert S. Prather, Jr., and intends to focus its search on companies in the media, entertainment and sports sectors, though it may pursue an initial business combination target in any business or industry sector.
