May 16, 2006 (New York, NY) - Proskauer Rose LLP, an international law firm with over 660 lawyers in the United States and Europe, announced that Philip Wisoff has joined the firm as Chief Information Officer. A technology executive with over 20 years experience in managing information systems, Mr. Wisoff was most recently the Director of Management Information Systems at Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom LLP.

As CIO, Mr. Wisoff will be responsible for the strategic and tactical planning, development, evaluation, and coordination of the firm's technology systems and management of its team of IT professionals in its offices in New York, Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., Boston, Boca Raton, Newark, New Orleans and Paris.
Mr. Wisoff brings over 20 years of experience in information systems and management with him to Proskauer. Prior to Skadden, he was Vice President of Internet Solutions at EYT (formerly Ernst & Young Technologies). He also worked in various positions at Ernst & Young LLP including National Director of Business Applications, National Director of Technology Services, National Director of Technology Support and Director of Technology. Prior to Ernst & Young, he also worked in executive-level technology and telecommunications positions at American International Group and Squibb Corporation after starting his career at Bell Telephone Laboratories. Mr. Wisoff is a graduate of Stanford University, where he received an MS in Computer Science and Computer Engineering, and of Brown University, where he received his BS in Computer Science.
