July 16, 2007 (New York, NY) - Proskauer Rose LLP, an international law firm with over 700 lawyers worldwide, is pleased to announce it has opened an office in São Paulo, Brazil. The new office, the firm's ninth, will provide a platform for Proskauer's continued and growing representation of global companies and financial institutions in a wide variety of transactions and other matters in the region, which have recently included debt and equity offerings, mergers and acquisitions, and bank finance.
Proskauer's São Paulo office will be headed by Antonio Piccirillo, partner in the firm's Corporate Department, with Carlos Martinez, corporate partner and head of the firm's Latin America Practice, playing a significant leadership role.
