October 13, 2017 (NEW YORK) – During two evenings in September, volunteers from Proskauer’s Mentoring Circle Program (MCP), Corporate Social Responsibility team and Diversity & Inclusion team came together to serve dinner at The Bowery Mission, an organization that provides food, shelter, clothing and medical care to homeless, working poor and needy New Yorkers. Between the two events, Proskauer volunteers served nearly 500 homeless men and women.
Our team of volunteers included Nicole Kramer, Ashley Ferguson, Ed Kornreich, Anya Kreimerzak, Michael Cardozo, Courtney Paul, Peter Wilson, Michael Mavrides, Ryan Harris, Timothy Karcher, Mac Teng, Peter Doyle, Michael Ellis and Mani Kakkar.
The Bowery Mission has served homeless and hungry New Yorkers since 1879. Since the beginning of Proskauer’s partnership with The Bowery Mission in 2014, our volunteers have served 3,650 meals to the homeless and underserved in New York City.
