NEW YORK, August 30, 2023 – Leading international law firm Proskauer is delighted to announce that partner Andrea Rattner is a recipient of Corporate Counsel’s Best Mentor Award as part of the 2023 Women, Influence and Power in Law (WIPL) Awards. The WIPL Awards honor general counsel, in-house leaders and law firm partners who have demonstrated a commitment to advancing the empowerment of women in law.

Andrea is a founder and co-chair of Proskauer’s Women’s Sponsorship Program (WSP), which supports the career development and professional growth of high-performing lawyers through career championing by distinguished partners who serve as sponsors. In addition to fostering sponsorship, the WSP provides networking opportunities, supports the creation of customized development plans, and incorporates robust workshops and training sessions that empower women lawyers to access guidance, support and opportunities for success and advancement.

Over the past decade, approximately 200 women have participated in the WSP. Andrea currently serves as a sponsor and mentor to five lawyers at Proskauer as part of the WSP and other Firm initiatives.

A member of the Firm’s Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation Group (EBEC), Andrea has more than 35 years of experience on a broad range of executive compensation and employee benefit matters, representing clients in an array of industries on an ongoing advisory basis and in the context of corporate transactions and other transformative and unique situations.

In addition to the WSP and her client work, Andrea also serves on Proskauer’s Diversity Task Force and is a prior two-term member of the Firm’s Executive Committee and past chair of the Tax Department.

The 2023 class will be recognized at an awards dinner on October 18 as part of Corporate Counsel’s Women, Influence & Power in Law Conference in New Orleans.
