A leading entertainment industry litigator with 35 years of success, she represents the most iconic names in music on recording, publishing, licensing and management contracts, copyright and trademark infringement claims, unfair competition claims, and the rights of privacy and publicity. Sandy has secured significant victories for recording artists, songwriters, record companies and music publishers in unlicensed-use cases that are unprecedented based upon the number of alleged infringements, novel copyright liability issues, and the potential for statutory damages. She also negotiates highly sensitive personal and entertainment-related disputes confidentially, protecting her clients and their reputations from unwarranted media scrutiny.
Rob is co-head of the Firm’s Technology, Media & Telecommunications Group and advises on transformative matters across the media and entertainment industries. For nearly three decades, Rob has worked with clients to structure and negotiate transactions that impact the way consumers access and view content. He has advised media, sports, entertainment and technology companies including Warner Bros. Discovery, AMC Networks, The CW, FanDuel, Hulu, TMRW Sports, NBA Media and NFL Media on corporate transactions ranging from M&A deals and joint ventures to the negotiation of complex media and sports rights and content distribution agreements.
