NEW YORK, June 28, 2022 – Proskauer, a leading international law firm, is pleased to announce that it has been named a Best Law Firm for Women in Seramount’s annual survey, which recognizes law firms that create and use best practices in retaining and promoting women lawyers.
Proskauer received top marks in the Support for Women’s Advancement and Flexibility categories. The Firm was ranked number one for its external programs; recruiting, tracking and accountability; usage of task forces, opinion surveys and communication; paid days off; and access and usage of reduced hours and remote work.

With the goal of bettering the legal profession as a whole, the Firm has implemented several programs to enhance career and professional development for women.
To further support lawyers at key stages of their personal lives, Proskauer launched an innovative program in 2016 to ease the transition of lawyers returning from caregiver leave. CaRe, or Caregiver Return, allows lawyers to return on a 75 percent schedule and receive 100 percent of their pre-leave compensation for the first six months of their return.
The Women’s Sponsorship Program supports the career development and professional growth of high-performing lawyers through career championing by distinguished partners who serve as their sponsors.
Additionally, through the Proskauer Women’s Alliance, the Firm has hosted numerous professional development and engagement opportunities designed to build and strengthen relationships among women lawyers at the Firm.

This recent ranking by Seramount follows a series of culture awards for Proskauer. The Firm was recently named as a Top Firm for Culture by Yale Law Women in its 17th annual Top Firms Report and was recognized as a “Best Place to Work for LGBTQ+ Equality” by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation.
