BOSTON, January 7, 2026 – Proskauer is pleased to share that Venture Capital Journal has named partner Matthew Geduldig to its 2026 Rising Stars list, which honors professionals under age 40 who are making their mark in the venture capital industry.
Matthew is a partner in Proskauer’s Private Investment Funds Group. He has led complex, high-value deals for leading venture capital firms. His practice involves advising private investment fund managers on the various stages of venture capital and private equity fund formations, including capital raising, marketing, drafting, reviewing and negotiating fund documentation, and counseling clients on regulatory and compliance issues. Matthew also advises managers on operational issues, including sponsor-ownership issues and governance.
Recently, Matthew advised StepStone on the formation of StepStone VC Secondaries Fund VI, which closed with $3.3 billion in commitments, one of the largest ever venture capital secondaries funds. In addition, he advised CRV on the first and final closing of its latest flagship fund, CRV XX, which was oversubscribed and closed at its $750 million cap.
