June 26, 2020 (Chicago; Los Angeles) – Proskauer partners Kate Gold and Steven Pearlman have been elected as class fellows of the College of Labor & Employment Lawyers (CLEL).
The College of Labor & Employment Lawyers is a non-profit professional association honoring leading lawyers nationwide in the practice of Labor and Employment Law. Fellows are recognized as distinguished members of the labor and employment community who promote achievement, advancement and excellence in the practice through high standards of professionalism and civility, and by sharing their experience and knowledge, and acting as a resource for academia, government, the judiciary and the community at large.
Kate Gold has over 25 years of experience representing clients in a range of industries, across all areas of employment law. An experienced litigator, she has represented clients in all types of employment-related suits, including class and collective actions, discrimination, retaliation and harassment, non-compete and wage/hour matters. Most recently, Kate was named to Los Angeles Business Journal’s Top Women Attorneys 2020 list, an award that honors the region’s most outstanding trusted advisers in Los Angeles.
Steven Pearlman is a partner in the Labor & Employment Law Department and co-head of the Firm's Whistleblowing & Retaliation Group. A contributing writer for Forbes.com, Steven’s practice covers the full spectrum of employment law. He has successfully tried cases in multiple jurisdictions, and defended what is reported to be the largest Illinois-only class action in the history of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Chambers describes Steven as an “outstanding lawyer” who is “very sharp and very responsive.” Steven was 1 of 12 individuals selected by Compliance Week as a "Top Mind of 2019."
