Andrea, a partner in the Firm’s Tax Department, has been named a finalist in the Corporate Governance and Tax Lawyer of the Year categories, while Sandra, a partner in the Firm’s Litigation Department is a finalist for Copyright Lawyer of the Year.
Andrea, a member of the Firm’s Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation Group, has more than 30 years of experience advising clients on complex and sensitive executive compensation and benefits matters on an ongoing basis as well as in the context of corporate transactions and other transformative and unique situations. Her clients include public and private companies, boards of directors, compensation committees and senior executives in a broad range of industries. She counsels clients on benefits and compensation considerations arising in all types of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, spin-offs, restructurings, securities offerings, financings and bankruptcies.
Sandra is chair of the Firm’s Entertainment, Copyright & Media practice group and is a bi-coastal litigator who has practiced law in the entertainment industry for more than 30 years, representing the most iconic names in the music business in matters involving recording, publishing, licensing and management contracts, copyrights, trademark rights, unfair competition claims, and the rights of privacy and publicity. In addition to advising Billboard top recording artists, and virtually all of the major music entertainment companies, she serves as Deputy National Legal Counsel to the National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences, Inc. (the GRAMMY® Award organization).
