Morgan is a technology specialist in the Litigation Department and a member of the Life Sciences Patent Practice. Her work focuses on domestic and foreign patent preparation, prosecution, freedom-to-operate analysis, and IP diligence for a variety of clients in the life sciences and pharmaceutical industries.
Morgan graduated from the University of Delaware with a Master’s in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. During her Master’s, she performed research in the fields of protein engineering and biocatalysis while working with a multi-disciplinary team to convert lignin into sustainable and recyclable plastics. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park. As part of her undergraduate research, she interned at the National Institute on Aging studying DNA helicases implicated in hereditary breast and ovarian cancer.
