Proskauer won China Business Law Journal’s 2015 China Business Law Award in the Private Equity and Venture Capital category.

China Business Law Awards are based on nominations received from corporate counsel and legal professionals around the world. In determining the winners, the nominations were considered in combination with other factors, such as each firm’s landmark deals, cases and other notable achievements over the past year. In addition, clients are interviewed to ascertain the level of satisfaction with the services provided by each firm.

Proskauer was honored for its deals in the private equity and venture capital sectors, which included advising leading hotel operator Accor on its groundbreaking alliance with Huazhu Hotels to create a hotel giant in China; the formation of Grand China Overseas Investment Fund, a leading Asia-based fund focused on real estate investments; and advising CCB International in the HK$300m offering by SkyOcean, a HK listed company that provides elder care services and distributes medical devices and equipment.
