NEW YORK, June 15, 2026 – Proskauer advised X Games on the sale of XC Los Angeles and XC Park City to accomplished private equity investor Allen Thorpe through his firm, Pipedream Capital. The transaction marks another milestone for the MoonPay X Games League (“XGL”) as it prepares for its inaugural Summer and Winter Seasons.

Launched in 2026, XGL brings an exciting new extension to the iconic X Games brand as the world’s first year-round, team-based, co-ed league in action sports. The League features eight teams (four winter XGL teams and four summer XGL teams) that fuse geographic identity with global athletic talent as they compete.

Los Angeles is one of the most influential action sports markets in the world and serves as home to XC Los Angeles, one of the league’s flagship summer teams. Park City, a globally recognized ski and snowboard destination, will anchor the XC Park City winter club beginning with the XGL Winter Season in 2027.

The Firm previously advised MoonPay X Games League on the sale of New York’s Summer and Winter Teams to UNA Sports Group.
