PARIS, October 29, 2026 – Proskauer advised wealth management specialist Groupe Premium on its agreement to acquire Sanso Longchamp AM and combine it with Flornoy Ferri, its asset management subsidiary.
The transaction is expected to increase Groupe Premium’s overall assets under management to more than €30 billion, further strengthening its position as a leading wealth manager in France and Italy.
The combination of Sanso Longchamp AM and Flornoy Ferri is expected to bring together complementary expertise in fixed income, European equities, quantitative strategies, delegated investment management, private equity, trust services and private wealth management. The combined business would offer a broader range of investment solutions to individual investors, financial advisers, family offices, religious foundations and congregations, as well as institutional investors.
As part of the acquisition, Sanso Longchamp AM’s managers, including David Armstrong and David Kalfon, will reinvest in Groupe Premium and take on leadership roles in the combined business.
Completion of the transaction is expected in the first quarter of 2027, subject to regulatory approval from the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) and customary closing conditions.
The Proskauer team advising Groupe Premium was led by partner Jeremy Scemama and included associates Aurélie Briquet and Lou Thauvin (Private Equity M&A), as well as partner Gwenaël Kropfinger and associates Corentin Traxel and Maxime Dussartre (Tax).
