July 17, 2017 (New York) – International law firm Proskauer advised longtime client Church & Dwight Co., Inc. (NYSE: CHD) in its definitive agreement to acquire Water Pik, Inc., the market leader in water-jet technology in both oral water flossers and replacement showerheads, for approximately $1 billion in cash. The transaction, which is subject to regulatory approval and other customary conditions, is expected to close in the third quarter of 2017.
Water Pik is the number one brand of both water flossers and replacement shower heads in the U.S. The acquisition of the company is Church & Dwight’s entrance into the replacement shower head segment.
