LONDON, June 19, 2026 – Proskauer advised AnaCap, a private equity firm focused on partnering with founders and entrepreneurial management teams across services, software and technology businesses in the lower mid-market, on the successful closing of its flagship fundraising vehicle Buyout II.
With total commitments including co-investment of more than €320 million, Buyout II was oversubscribed and will continue AnaCap’s strategy of investing in lower mid-market businesses across Europe.
Buyout II has already signed four platform investments, including DK Accountants & Adviseurs in the Netherlands, Edge Group in Italy, Ancorius (fka FJMF) in Luxembourg, and Italian professional services business CDR Advisory.
The Proskauer team was led by partners Christopher Elson, Nigel van Zyl (Private Funds) and Richard Bull (Private Equity M&A); partners Richard Miller and Jeremy Naylor (Tax) and partner John Verwey (Regulatory).
