February 11, 2013 (Paris) – Proskauer’s Paris office has been recognized by French publications Décideurs and Option Droit & Affaires as a leader in private equity in France.
Décideurs singled out Proskauer in two separate reports. In the first, which focused on capital development and fund formation, the publication gave the firm high marks in the following categories:
- Venture Capital: Excellent
- Fund Formation: Excellent
- Lower, Mid and Small Cap: Strong awareness
- Advisor to Capital Risk: Strong awareness
- Advisor to Management Team: Renowned
Décideurs hailed Proskauer Partner Caroline Chabrerie, who heads the Paris office’s Private Equity Group, as a leading lawyer in the categories of Venture Capital; Fund Formation; Lower, Mid and Small Cap; and Advisor to Capital Risk. The publication also highlighted Private Equity Associate Christophe Baert as a leading lawyer in Fund Formation.
In the second report, which focused on the biotechnology and pharmacy sectors, Décideurs ranked Proskauer as follows:
- Capital Operation, Joint-Ventures & Corporate: Strong awareness
- Capital Risk: Strong awareness
The publication cited Ms. Chabrerie as a leading lawyer in both categories.
Proskauer was also recognized as a private equity leader in France by Option Droit & Affaires, which ranked the firm highly in Fund Formation and Venture Capital, and named Ms. Chabrerie a leading lawyer in each.
