Nick Rose is a Special Funds Counsel in Proskauer’s Corporate group and a member of the Private Funds team.
Nick advises fund managers on a range of issues, including the establishment and structuring of private investment funds and matters relating to internal governance and ongoing fund maintenance. Nick also advises institutional investors on primary investments, traditional and non-traditional secondary transactions, preferred equity, GP-led and continuation vehicle transactions.
Nick has a particular focus on the Nordic market and is spearheading the continued growth of the team’s Nordic practice, and in recent years has advised a range of Nordic sponsors on multiple innovative and successful fundraises.
Nick is also at the forefront of the firm’s LGBTQ+ diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives. As well as being a key member of the firm’s internal diversity programmes and being a mentor to junior lawyers, he is leading Proskauer’s efforts to bring together and create networks of LGBTQ+ lawyers, sponsors, investors, commercial advisors and other professionals from the private equity industry.
Nick’s representative clients include Fidelio Capital, Priveq, Quilvest Capital Partners, Rivean Capital and Valedo Partners, and Nick’s experience also includes a client secondment with the European Investment Fund.
