Josh Sturm is a partner in the Restructuring Group in New York. Josh represents private credit investors, lenders, debtors, purchasers and other strategic parties across the capital structure in complex restructurings, special situations and asset sales. He advises on both in- and out-of-court restructurings, with particular experience in liability management transactions and investments in distressed businesses.

Josh works closely with private capital providers to navigate stressed and distressed scenarios, including evaluating strategic alternatives, executing transactions and managing related disputes. He also has significant experience handling bankruptcy litigation, including appellate matters.

Josh has advised on a range of high-profile restructurings and liability management transactions across industries, including representing ad hoc creditor groups in matters such as Anthology and Oregon Tool, and advising companies in major Chapter 11 cases including Azul and Aeroméxico.
