Eric Reimer is a partner in the Firm’s Global Finance practice. Eric has more than 25 years of experience representing a wide variety of clients on finance matters, from private equity firms and hedge funds to specialty lenders, direct lenders, distressed investors, borrowers and issuers. His practice includes credit facilities, specialty credits, direct lending, front-end lending transactions, mezzanine facilities, bridge facilities, acquisition facilities, debt issuances and restructurings. Eric has particular experience in distressed finance, fund finance, insurance-backed IP finance, health care finance, M&A finance and financings in the technology, insurance, energy, education, retail, equipment and transportation sectors.  

Eric also represents opportunity and investment funds in distressed M&A transactions and in the acquisition and restructuring of debt and credit facilities, bankruptcy finance, including DIP financings and Exit Facilities, and the ongoing general representation of portfolio companies of such funds. He received his B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Southern California and his J.D. from the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco (Formerly UC Hastings).
