Elisabeth Fapuro is an associate in the Private Funds Group and a member of the Firm’s Private Capital industry group.

Elisabeth advises on the structuring, establishment, management, cross-border marketing and restructuring of investment funds, including real estate funds, credit funds, private equity funds, and Shariah-compliant structures. Elisabeth has experience advising funds domiciled in a range of onshore and offshore jurisdictions for UK, U.S., Middle Eastern and European asset managers, including Ireland, where Elisabeth spent time on secondment advising on Irish UCITS and non-UCITS investment funds. Elisabeth also has experience advising on carried interest arrangements and investors (including sovereign wealth investors) on primary fund investments.

Prior to joining Proskauer, Elisabeth worked in the London and Middle East offices of two other international U.S. law firms and has also worked in the legal teams of two international insurance companies. She has also completed a client secondment at one of the top global fund administrators with over $1 trillion in assets under administration.
