Dona Treska is an associate in the Private Funds Group and a member of the Firm's Private Capital industry group.
Dona advises on all aspects of investment management, with a focus on the structuring, formation, management and marketing of investment funds. Her practice spans open-ended, hybrid and evergreen fund structures across a broad range of asset classes and strategies, including credit, equity long/short, macro, systematic and quantitative, long only, market-neutral, event-driven, distressed and special situations, and activist investing strategies.
Dona also advises on service provider arrangements and provides ongoing counsel to managers on corporate, compliance and regulatory matters. She regularly acts on the establishment of high-value start-up asset management businesses and advises on seed deals, revenue-sharing arrangements and managed account structures. She has particular experience with tokenised funds and digital asset strategies.
Dona has been recognised as a Leading Associate in The Legal 500 UK 2025 in the Hedge Funds category, noted for her regular work with the firm’s key clients and described by peers and clients as “one to watch”.
Prior to joining Proskauer, Dona trained and practised at a global law firm in London. She has also completed multiple client secondments and worked as a senior legal analyst at Goldman Sachs International.
