NEW YORK, September 17, 2025 – Proskauer has been recognized for its work on the Chapter 11 restructuring of Red Lobster Management LLC in both the “Regional Deal of the Year: North America” and “Consumer Discretionary Deal of the Year” categories in The M&A Advisor’s 2025 International M&A Awards.

The awards, which were announced during the 2025 M&A Advisor Leadership in Dealmaking Summit, acknowledge Proskauer’s representation of Fortress Investment Group’s reorganization of Red Lobster, in which funds managed by Fortress affiliates were lead lender, investor and purchaser of the Red Lobster business. The highly complex reorganization dramatically improved the company’s go-forward balance sheet through a series of actions that included renegotiating leases and closing underperforming locations. Red Lobster emerged from bankruptcy with 545 restaurants across the US and Canada.

This recognition underscores the strength of Proskauer’s cross-practice team in navigating high-stakes restructurings.
