January 20, 2015 (New York) – The Women in Law Empowerment Forum (WILEF) has recognized Proskauer as a 2014 Gold Standard firm for the first time. WILEF certification recognizes law firms that have successfully integrated women into leadership roles. Proskauer is one of only 51 firms to receive Gold Standard Certification in 2014.

Proskauer’s WILEF certification signifies that women represent at least:

• 10% of firm chairs and managing partners
• 20% of the firm's primary governance committee
• 20% or more of the firm's compensation committee or its equivalent
• 10% of the top half of the most highly compensated partners

Proskauer has long championed the professional development and career advancement of women lawyers and staff. In 2014, 50 percent of U.S. partners named were women, and two out of seven members of the firm’s executive committee were women. Proskauer was also recently named one of the top 25 “Best Law Firms for Women” in the 2015 Vault Guide to the Top 100 Law Firms.
