PARIS, May 13, 2026 – Proskauer advised DC Company, a digital media group that notably owns Konbini and Le Gorafi, as well as its founder Geoffrey La Rocca, in connection with Alexandre Yazdi’s investment in the company. Yazdi, co-founder and CEO of Voodoo, will become DC Company’s majority shareholder.
This transaction builds on a relationship that has been in place for several years between Alexandre Yazdi and DC Company, with Yazdi having long been a minority investor in the group. The transaction is intended to support a new phase of development by strengthening the group’s investment capabilities in particular. In this regard, Alexandre Yazdi aims to modernize and energize the group’s business model.
By drawing on the product and technology expertise developed by Alexandre Yazdi at Voodoo, as well as Geoffrey La Rocca’s know-how in developing strong and purpose-driven media brands, the two entrepreneurs intend to continue building an innovative, sustainable and independent media model.
Founded by Geoffrey La Rocca, DC Company notably acquired Konbini in early 2024. Konbini is a pioneer in online media and is popular among 15- to 35-year-olds. The group also includes other digital media outlets, including the satirical website Le Gorafi, as well as Herstory, formerly Les Éclaireuses, and C’est Qui La Boss.
Alexandre Yazdi is co-founder and CEO of Voodoo. Founded in 2013, the company has established itself as a major player in the mobile gaming market.
The Proskauer team advising DC Company consisted of partner Jeremy Scemama and associates Julien Burger and Mohamed Kettani (Private Equity M&A).
