April 12, 2005 (Boston, MA) - Proskauer Rose LLP, an international law firm with over 625 lawyers in the U.S. and Europe, announced the expansion of its Boston office into approximately 23,000 square feet of space on the 22nd floor of One International Place, located in the heart of Boston's financial district. The firm already occupied approximately 13,000 square feet on the 14th floor of the building and now fully occupies the 22nd floor.
Proskauer's Boston office has experienced rapid growth since opening in March 2004 and is now home to one of the country's top private equity practices, representing over 100 venture capital and private equity firms worldwide. The office also has nationally-ranked corporate transactional, intellectual property, litigation, and labor and employment practices.
Proskauer Rose opened its Boston office with two partners, one senior counsel, and twelve associates. Since then, the office has grown to nearly 60 attorneys, making it one of the 25 largest law firms in Boston.
"The success and growth of our Boston office over the course of the last year has been exceptional by any measure," said Steven Bauer, who heads the Boston office and is a partner in the firm's Patent Litigation and Dispute Resolution Group. "We look forward to continued expansion."
