The awards recognize female leaders and allies who have demonstrated a commitment to advancing the empowerment of women in law.
Szeman is a partner in Proskauer’s Global Finance and Private Credit Groups. She advises private credit providers in complex financing transactions, including acquisition financings, leveraged sponsor buyouts, recapitalizations, restructurings, and cross-border financings. She has experience in unitranche, first and second lien, secured and unsecured mezzanine, split collateral, holdco, and other deal structures in connection with transactions across a wide range of industries.
Beyond her practice, Szeman is on Proskauer’s Hiring Committee and is a former co-chair of the Associate Council. She also serves on the board of Boston Explorers, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing inclusive opportunities and enriching leadership experiences for urban youth.
