Proskauer officially launched FutureReady, a new global initiative spearheaded by Proskauer Impact, at a breakfast hosted by the Firm’s Boston office in partnership with Sport dans la Ville during Festival 26.
Festival 26 brought together 400 young people from 24 countries for cultural exchange, leadership development, and soccer programming timed to coincide with the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The launch event welcomed 40 leaders from youth-serving organizations around the world, alongside Proskauer professionals and community partners, to celebrate a shared commitment to expanding access to education, technology, and career opportunity.
The launch also builds on a broader partnership. Proskauer has worked with Sport dans la Ville in several ways, including hosting students for career conversations, providing ongoing pro bono legal support and collaborating with Ardian, a Proskauer client and supporter of Sport dans la Ville, on community engagement efforts connected to Festival 26.
“I’m proud that we had the opportunity to host this gathering in our newly renovated Boston office and share our space with people from around the world who are doing such important work,” said Keith Barnett, head of Proskauer’s Boston office.
Connection Across Communities
During the breakfast, Proskauer helped create space for delegation leaders to connect across countries and communities, with table conversations focused on the young people they serve, the communities they represent, and the moments that remind them why their work matters.
“Festival 26 is designed to bring young people together across countries, cultures, and communities, and partnerships like this help extend the impact of that experience beyond the field. We are grateful to Proskauer for its commitment to helping people build confidence, access new opportunities, and prepare for their futures,” said Pascale Remy, Head of Global Partnerships, Sport dans la Ville.
Resilience, Leadership, and the Power of Sport
The program featured a fireside chat with Charlie Davies, former U.S. Men’s National Soccer Team player, Olympian and CBS Sports analyst, moderated by Mark Bunbury, Proskauer’s Community Engagement and Inclusion Officer. Their conversation explored resilience, leadership, and the role sport can play in helping young people see what is possible.
Impact From Day One
As part of the launch, Proskauer donated more than 300 laptops to Festival 26 participants, helping equip them with technology to support future educational and professional opportunities in an increasingly digital world.
“Ardian has long believed in Sport dans la Ville’s work and its commitment to creating pathways to opportunity. Festival 26 is a wonderful example of that mission in action, and it was meaningful to see Proskauer bring its people, resources, and connections to this moment. Partnerships like this show what is possible when organizations come together around a shared commitment,” said Aymeric Lepeu, Ardian, CFO and COO, Ardian U.S.
Looking Ahead
FutureReady is a Proskauer Impact initiative focused on preparing communities for the future of work and education. It brings together the Firm’s pro bono, charitable giving, mentorship, and community engagement efforts to support career and education readiness, reskilling, and long-term career opportunity.
Through partnerships with nonprofits, clients, alumni and community leaders, FutureReady will help expand access to the tools, guidance, and pathways individuals need to thrive in a rapidly evolving world.
The launch set the stage for FutureReady programming to grow across Proskauer offices and community partnerships.
