Proskauer hosted its inaugural Bay Area in-house alumni gathering in early March. Corporate partners Chris Ahn and Ally de Padua, along with litigation partner Jonathan Weiss, traveled to San Francisco from their respective offices to host an intimate dinner.
The event marked an initial step in expanding the alumni engagement initiative to a region where a significant number of alumni reside, despite the Firm not having a physical office there.
“It was wonderful to host an alumni event in the Bay Area. Nearly all the attendees knew each other from their respective tenures at Proskauer, and it was wonderful to see them reconnect and reestablish their bonds,” said Chris Ahn. “We look forward to arranging more of these get-togethers in the Bay Area and continuing to create community and connectivity among Proskauer and our alumni.”
“I had a fantastic time,” said Yoona Kim, a Staff Attorney in the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s Division of Enforcement. “It was wonderful to break bread with everyone and to share in great conversation all evening. You wouldn’t know that some of us were meeting each other for the first time.”
“I worked in Proskauer’s Boston office until early 2020 and left the Firm to relocate to San Francisco,” explained Allen Li, Senior Legal Counsel at Entrata. “I am grateful that Proskauer would proactively seek me out and invite me to an alumni dinner. I only know a few alumni in the Bay Area so the opportunity to connect with other alumni is incredibly meaningful.”
Additional In-House Alumni Bay Area gatherings will be held throughout 2026 and beyond.
