In celebration of Women’s History Month, the Proskauer Women’s Alliance hosted “Game Changers: A Conversation with Proskauer Alumnae,” bringing together alumnae from across the sports industry for a candid discussion on leadership, self-advocacy and career growth.
“It was so special to come back and see the amazing colleagues that made this place home. Being able to share my experiences and reflections with other amazing Proskauer alumnae was icing on the cake.”
Krista Whitaker, EVP, Chief Legal Officer, Chicago Bears
Sally Bradley of North Woodmere Capital, Laura Franks of Major League Soccer, Erica Petri of the National Basketball Association, Kate Sheets of AEG Global Partnerships, and Krista Whitaker of the Chicago Bears shared insights into the paths that led them from Proskauer to leadership roles across professional sports.
Introduced by partner Christine Lazatin and moderated by associate Tara Wahl, the conversation highlighted the importance of agility, adaptability and playing to your strengths in a fast-moving industry. The panelists also reflected on what it meant to return to the Firm, describing the experience as “full circle,” “gratifying” and “rewarding” — and as a reminder of Proskauer’s lasting impact on confidence, career development and connection across its alumni community.
“The firm has always been a leader in preparing its attorneys for whatever path their legal career may take, and I was happy to share my journey.”
Sally Bradley, COO, General Counsel, North Woodmere Capital
