Connection Across Borders at the Bayeux Tapestry Exhibition

Proskauer welcomed nearly 900 clients and colleagues to the British Museum for an evening celebrating shared history and the relationships that connect us across borders.

On September 16, during the opening week of the Bayeux Tapestry exhibition in London, guests had a rare opportunity to experience one of the world's most important medieval works. Proskauer is proud to support this landmark exhibition, which marks the Tapestry's first return to the United Kingdom in nearly 1,000 years.

The Tapestry's structure provided a fitting theme for the evening. Its 58 scenes unfold across nine joined panels, forming one continuous narrative nearly 70 metres long.

Tim Mungovan, Chair of the Firm, and Steven Davis, Head of Proskauer's London office, welcomed guests and reflected on the growth of the Firm's European platform. Drawing a parallel with the Tapestry, Steven said:

"Our job is to bring together the right people, across disciplines and markets, as one connected team focused on helping you achieve your ambitions. The joins should be seamless."

That approach is at the heart of Proskauer’s strategy, where teams work as one, combining experience across markets, practices, and industries to support clients wherever their ambitions take them.

The evening was an opportunity to thank clients for their trust and to celebrate the partnerships that continue to shape what comes next.
