Robert H. Chiu is an associate in the Corporate Department and a member of the Mergers & Acquisitions Group.
Rob counsels public and private companies on both strategic and financial M&A transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, carveouts, joint ventures, reorganizations and corporate governance matters. Having been resident in both the Firm’s New York and London offices, he has extensive experience in cross-border deals and has structured and negotiated transactions on both sides of the Atlantic.
Active in pro bono, Rob has engaged in a variety of efforts related to immigration and asylum. He also serves as co-chair of the Firm’s Asian Lawyer Affinity Group.
During law school, Rob completed a human rights fellowship in The Hague at the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia. Prior to his legal studies, he also worked in marketing at the Clinton Foundation.
