Nicole Raca Bromberg is an associate in the Restructuring Group at Proskauer, where she advises private credit lenders, debtors and creditors in complex in-court and out-of-court restructuring matters. With substantial cross-border experience, Nicole bridges two worlds – Latin America and the United States – in the international insolvency landscape.
Nicole is the Secretary of the New York City Bar Inter-American Affairs Committee, a Fellow of the New York Economic Club, a merit-based program for next-generation leaders, and a Fellow of Fundação Estudar, a merit-based Brazilian fellowship program.
Nicole earned her LL.M. from Harvard Law School, where she served as President of the Harvard Law School Brazilian Studies Association. She also holds a Master of Laws (J.S.M.) and an LL.B. from the University of São Paulo in Brazil, where she graduated at the top of her class. Nicole is licensed to practice law in New York and Brazil.
In addition to her practice, Nicole is a researcher, academic and author who has published extensively on corporate law and restructuring. Her work includes a printed book on corporate law in Brazil, book chapters and multiple academic and professional articles. She has also lectured on corporate matters to legal practitioners and law students in Brazil, reflecting her strong engagement with both the academic and business communities.
