Lale Brown

Lale Brown is an associate in the Labor & Employment Law Department and a member of the Employment Litigation Group and Counseling, Training & Pay Equity Group.

They represent employers in a broad range of labor and employment matters, advising technology and healthcare clients on sensitive workplace issues and defending against claims of discrimination and retaliation. Lale guides clients through all phases of litigation, from pre-litigation counseling through discovery and trial, and also represents clients in arbitration and mediation.

Prior to joining Proskauer, Lale served as a law clerk to the Honorable Ivan L.R. Lemelle of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana.

Lale earned their J.D. from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, where they served as Comment Editor for the Loyola Journal of Public Interest Law, Secretary of the National Lawyers Guild, and a student practitioner in the Stuart H. Smith Law Clinic.

They are also an active member of the New Orleans Chapter of the Federal Bar Association, the Greater New Orleans Louis A. Martinet Legal Society, and the St. Thomas More–Loyola American Inn of Court.
