John B. Tucker

John Tucker is a technology specialist in the Litigation Department, and a member of the Patent practice. He works with life sciences, pharmaceutical, and biotech clients on domestic and foreign patent preparation, prosecution, patentability and freedom-to-operate analyses, and IP diligence.

John received his Ph.D. in Cancer Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he investigated the landscape of chromosomal instability (CIN) in breast tumors, developed synergistic combinatorial therapy modulating CIN to potentially treat breast cancer, and measured intratumoral concentrations of microtubule poisons.

Prior to his doctorate work, John researched HSP90 dependency in castration resistant prostate cancer at the National Institute of Health. John received his B.A. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Georgia, where he conducted research screening patient samples for novel antigen binding.
