Elanit Snow is a senior counsel in Proskauer’s Corporate Department, head of the firm’s derivatives practice and a member of the Global Finance Group. Her practice spans complex derivatives, bespoke financing transactions and distressed debt trading.

Elanit advises financial institutions, asset managers, hedge funds, private equity funds, multinational corporations and family offices on structuring and negotiating over-the-counter derivatives and synthetic financing transactions. She helps clients obtain synthetic leverage and hedge exposure to key market risks, and negotiates ISDA Master Agreements, repurchase agreements (MRA and GMRA), master securities forward transaction agreements (MSFTA), clearing agreements, prime brokerage agreements and related documentation. She also advises on the legal, compliance and regulatory requirements applicable to derivatives transactions under the Dodd-Frank Act.

Elanit represents private credit funds, asset managers and borrowers in structuring and executing complex financing transactions across a range of investment strategies and asset classes. Her experience includes leveraged loans, subscription credit facilities, NAV financings, warehouse facilities and asset-based lending transactions.

Elanit also advises creditors in distressed situations and represents buyers and sellers in secondary market transactions involving syndicated loans, bankruptcy claims and other distressed and illiquid assets.
